Photographing children is one of the most rewarding and challenging things I do. Anyone can take a picture of a baby and people will think it is cute, especially if it is their kid. The real challenge is catching their attention and capturing their personality form behind the camera. Vanessa is adorable, it goes without saying, but her smile and quirk is to die for. I feel so privileged to be allowed in people’s homes to photograph them and their children in the personal surroundings. No backdrops – just real life. The unexpected is what I live for.
