The Waterfront Restaurant and Tavern in La Crosse, Wisconsin is an ideal location for the elegant bride who is looking for a non-traditional venue. Ellie matched her personality to her venue flawlessly! Having grown up in the area, it was the perfect spot to gather their families on their wedding day. She finished getting ready in one of the prettiest powder rooms we have ever seen. Ellie looked stunning in her vintage styled embroidered sleeveless dress, which she got in North Carolina. It fit her perfectly. Jon, the groom, arrived in his Dress Blues; got to love a man in uniform.

The Cargill Room seated their guests and gave Katie and I a bird’s eye view of their nuptials, which were filled with personal vows and contagious tears and laughter. Close friends and family were elated to see these two tie the knot.

The award-winning venue and wedding was one of favorites this season! It is not often we shoot weddings in Eastern Wisconsin, but we sure to love the change of scenery, especially the rolling hills and bluffs of LaCrosse.

Ellie and Jon’s had a panoramic view of the Mississippi River as they danced the night away. Their guests were treated to one of Wisconsin’s finest dining experiences with one heck of a view.  Friends and family moved freely from the beautifully decorated space to the outdoor deck overlooking the River.

Thankfully, we snuck these two away for a few minutes during the cocktail hour to photograph them on the Waterfront. A quick change of attire, and Jon was ready to sweep his bride off her feat! What a celebration!
