Katie and I can’t believe how fast the spring comes and goes. This year has been a year of many blessings and firsts! After having our son {baby J} in Feb, we purchased our first home in March. Home ownership has been exciting and terrifying all at the same time. In a few short hours we will be making the trek to Chicago, starting our 8 hour flight across the pond. This will be Katie’s first plane ride since she was a little girl flying from Virginia to Wisconsin as her Dad was stationed on the East coast while in the Navy. Baby J, now 4 months old, will also be accompanying us on our first ever trip abroad. We feel so blessed to be able to take this trip (especially together) – something we have not been able to do since kids have always been apart of our story. We are praying for safe and glitch free travel! Since we will be renting a manual car and driving on the ‘wrong side of the road’ we are in dire need of some prayers. Fortunately, Katie, I, and the baby will be traveling for a few days with Andrew & Emily, We can’t wait to share with you more of our adventures when we return. Happy Birthday to our son Jasper who will turn 3 on our trip! Here are just a few of what we have been up to.
