A classic church wedding with your family and closest friends may sound simple. But for Katie and Mark, this is a realization of a lifelong dream. This couple decided to express their love and live out their motto: “One family unit, all in for each other, in love and in the service to God!” in front of all the important people in their lives in an elegant church wedding. Solemn, simple, and sweet, this is how I would describe the wedding. No dry eyes for anyone inside the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church located in La Crosse, Wisconsin as the couple finally exchanged their I dos.
Katie’s bright smile that day just radiates against the church’s altar as the backdrop. Mark, in his black tuxedo, was all smiles as he saw Katie walking down that aisle. Her long white dress. Witnessed by their loved ones, Katie and Mark’s vowed to stay together forever as one through a Church Wedding.
The wedding guests enjoyed themselves with the sumptuous food served at The Waterfront Restaurant and Tavern also located in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The simple yet delicious two-tier wedding cake prepared by Linda’s Bakery accentuated the dessert table.
Katie’s white wedding dress also stood out from the dark teal gowns of her bridesmaids as they happily posed for some pictures. Of course, the seven groomsmen would not want to miss their chance to pose with the happy couple. The weather was perfect for an outside shoot. The water fountain where Katie and Mark sealed a kiss was the perfect background for the garden setting photoshoot. The vast lake also provided us with a scenic view which made their wedding photos even more memorable.
Mark and Katie would surely reminisce about details of their wedding as they travel off to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico where they would spend their honeymoon. On a side note, who would have guessed that these two individuals would cross paths, big thanks to a dating app for Catholics. Katie was also all hands with the wedding preparation. Good thing Pinterest was her go-to resource for some wedding inspiration. Mark, being the supportive future husband, was all in as well.
